My version of the DCU and DCAU (Flash Mythos)

this is my version of the DC-Universe mythos. this DCU is a combination of the DCAU and the mainstream comic DCU. (what is not mentioned in the bios can automatically be assumed to be straight out of the comics or DCAU)

Flash Mythos

just like comic canon, Jay Garrick is the first Flash, Barry Allen the second, and Wally West the third. also their power distribution is similar to that of the comics.

　

Jay Garrick (Flash I) backstory-similar to that of the comics, except he's not from a different earth. in comics he's from earth two while barry's from earth one. in my Universe Jay and Barry inhabit the same earth. Jay got his powers in college when experimenting with heavy water when an accident released hazardous fumes that rendered him unconscious. After inhaling the fumes all night, he awoke in the hospital to discover he could move and react at superhuman speed. He became a crimefighter and a scientist in Keystone City—two roles that intersected surprisingly often, as his civilian life and research would often lead him into adventures as the Flash. he's a founding member of the JSA (justice society of america) and helped fight in WWII. the first and second Flash tried to stay out of the lime light for most of their careers so many people outside Keystone and Central City do not know of them.

Barry Allen (Flash II) backstory-Barry Allen's is also strongly similar to that of the comics he was a forensic scientist for the Central City Police Department, when one night he was at work during a rainstorm and lightning hit the chemical rack he was standing in front of, spilling lightning charged chemicals all over him. Barry became th crime fighter known as The Flash, named after the first Flash, Jay Garrick, who had long since retired. Barry protected Central and Keystone cities along side his sidekick and nephew Wally West, and was a full-time member of JSA until the group disbanded. Barry married the love of his life Iris West-Allen, who gave birth to a son who they named Bart Allen. who, to the relief of his father, showed no sighns of super-speed (yet). Barry retired and passed the mantel on to his nephew Wally, after defeating Professor Zoom but lost his ability to walk in the process.

Wally West (Kid Flash I, Flash III) backstory-Wallace Rudolph West, was born to Mary and Rudolph West. Wally had a strained relationship with his parents and was closer to Iris and Barry than Mary and rudolph. Wally and Barry bonded over their love of science, wally became Kid Flash, while visiting his Uncle Barry's lab, under the same conditions as the night Barry got his powers. incidentally enough. while walking to get a chemical from the chemical rack to help his Uncle Barry with an experiment, lightning struck the chemicals drenching wally in the same lightning charged chemicals his uncle was covered in, giving him similar powers. wally spent his teanage years helping his uncle barry fight crime as Kid Flash, then at the age of 17 went on to become The Flash. Two years after taking on The Flash mantle Wally, helped found the Justice Leauge, where he became close friends with Shayera Hol and the Green Lantern John Stewart. He is very good friends with Nightwing, whom he met while helping Batman with one of his (wally's) rouges in gotham. Wally is friend and big brother his cousin Bart Allen, who took on the mantle of Kid Flash, after his powers began to manifest at the age of twelve. As a civillian Wally, like his uncle, Works as a forensic scientist for the Central City Police Department, he stays in an apartment in Keystone and commutes to Central for his civillain job.

Bart Allen (Kid Flash II)- Bart Allen was born to parents Barry and Iris Allen. though his father was the second Flash, Bart did not show signs of superspeed until the age of twelve. Bart is taught how to handle his speed by both his father and his cousin. Bart lived in Central with his parents, before founding the teanage crimefighting group the Tean Titans and regularly spends the weekends with Wally in his apartment in Keystone City. Bart attended school in Central City until moving into the tower and attending classes with the other titans in the tower. Bart Allen is close friends with Tim Drake ( either Robin II or III) and Mia Dearden (Speedy II).
